Comedians Ask Sebastian Maniscalco to Restore SiriusXM Royalty Pipeline

Comedians including Patton Oswalt and Michelle Wolf are calling on comedian Sebastian Maniscalco to restore programming on SiriusXM that provided royalties for working comics, The Hollywood Reporter reported. In April, Maniscalco launched Maniscalco's Comedy Radio on SiriusXM, which replaced Channel 99, formerly known as Raw Comedy or Raw Dog. [1]

According to reports by The Hollywood Reporter, Page Six, New York Post, The Verge, and SSBCrack, Maniscalco and SiriusXM have so far appeared unmoved by the pleas. Comics say the channel shift cut hundreds of working comedians off the air and eliminated an important royalty pipeline that supported up-and-coming talent. [1][2][3][4][5]

Oswalt is an American stand-up comedian and actor who has appeared in shows such as The King of Queens and A.P. Bio. Wolf is an American comedian, writer, and host who previously worked on Late Night with Seth Meyers and The Daily Show with Trevor Noah. [7][8]
