The Peacock prequel series Crystal Lake alters an iconic murder sequence from the original 1980 film Friday the 13th, TVLine reported. In the new show, character Grace attacks camp counselors Claudette and Barry before Pamela Voorhees finishes the killing. [1]

According to TVLine, the series stars Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees, while Callum Vinson portrays young Jason Voorhees and Gwendolyn Sundstrom plays his friend Grace. In the original 1980 film, Pamela Voorhees was the sole killer who stabbed both counselors after they met in a barn. [1][7]
