ABC Sets Wednesday Premiere Date for The Rookie Season Nine and Spinoff

ABC announced that the ninth season of its crime drama series The Rookie will premiere on Jan. 6, moving to a new timeslot on Wednesday at 9 PM. Deadline TV reported that the series will serve as a lead-in for a new spinoff series, The Rookie: North, which will debut on the same night at 10 PM. [1]
