Celebrity Traitors concludes second series as faithful duo win final

The second series of BBC One reality competition show The Celebrity Traitors concluded on Friday, with comedian Romesh Ranganathan and Heartstopper actor Sebastian Croft winning the final. The BBC reported that the winning duo, playing as faithfuls, successfully banished the remaining traitors in the finale, which included Love Island host Maya Jama and YouTuber King Kenny. [1]

The BBC reported that the series attracted 15 million viewers as the original cast of 21 contestants was whittled down across four weeks of competition. The Guardian reported that the series finale concluded after several twists in earlier episodes, including a confession from contestant James Acaster and detective work from actor Michael Sheen. The Celebrity Traitors is a spin-off of the British version of reality television series The Traitors, hosted by Claudia Winkleman. As FTMQ Entertainment reported earlier, the second series began with 21 contestants competing in the castle, with recent episodes seeing high-profile departures such as comedian Miranda Hart. The Guardian reported that the strong viewing figures make it very likely that the BBC reality competition will return for another series next year. [4]
