Director Tribeny Rai presented her new feature project, tentatively titled A Chronicle of Minor Things, at the Asian Project Market. Variety reported that the market operates inside the Asian Contents & Film Market at the Busan International Film Festival. [1]

The project follows a dispute between two villages after a 15-year-old girl is found dead at daybreak. Variety reported that the conflict begins over jurisdiction because the tree where the girl is found hanging is rooted in one village while its branch extends over another. [1]

Rai previously directed Shape of Momo, which won an award at the Busan festival. According to Screen Daily, the Asian Contents & Film Market is expanding its scope this year with an added focus on artificial intelligence and microdramas. [1][2]

The Busan International Film Festival has long served as a platform for South Asian filmmakers. Indian director Vijay Jayapal previously premiered his debut drama Revelations at the 21st edition of the festival in 2016. [3]
